Nach dem Erfolg im Frühling findet im Herbst der vierte SwissMoodleDay statt. Eingeladen sind alle, die sich für Moodle interessieren. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem Einsatz von Moodle in unterschiedlichen Bildungsinstitutionen (ETH, KV Zürich Business School und Minerva Schulen Basel). Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, um Anmeldung wird jedoch gebeten. Vormittags haben Sie die freie Auswahl zwischen verschiedenen, parallel laufenden Workshops. Über Mittag können Sie entweder gemeinsam essen oder an einem Webinar teilnehmen. Am Nachmittag bieten Input-Referate Einblick zu spannenden Themen rund um E-Learning und Moodle.

Enterprise 2.0-Konzepte bieten völlig neue Wege der Kommunikation, Kollaboration und des Wissensmanagements. Daher können sie eine zentrale Rolle bei der Steigerung von Produktivität und Wissensarbeit einnehmen. Die bestmöglichen Produktivitätsverbesserungen stellen sich aber nicht von selbst ein. Vielmehr müssen Prozesse, Kultur, Arbeitspräferenzen und Kompetenzen der Mitarbeiter - in Abhängigkeit zur Strategie und Zielen des Unternehmens - mitentwickelt werden.

This year the International ILIAS Conference is coming to the Ruhr area. The 2-day event will be hosted by the Fachhochschule Dortmund, University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The main topics of the conference will be "Serious Gaming and Simulation", "ILIAS in Health Care" and "Institutional Cooperation in E-Learning".

This year's annual conference scope is the development of institutional strategies and business models for lifelong open and flexible learning, including (international) cooperation between institutions.

ECTEL 2010 will bring together technological developments, learning models and implementations of new and innovative approaches to training and education. The conference will explore how the synergy of multiple disciplines, ranging from computer science, education, psychology, cognitive science and social science can provide new, more effective and sustainable, technology-enhanced learning solutions. The conference welcomes researchers and developers from European and Non-European countries and industries to present recent advancements from technologies, applications and learning models in all areas of technology enhanced learning.

Self-regulated Learning in Technology Enhanced Learning Environments: Challenges and Promises The conference will be a platform to present and exchange research findings and ideas on SRL in TELEs. There will be presentations by invited speakers in the morning and parallel workshops in the afternoon.

Am 5. und 6. Oktober 2010 findet im Multimediazentrum der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena der Workshop „lecture recording – lecture on demand“ statt. Während der Veranstaltung werden technologische und didaktische Aspekte von E-Lectures diskutiert, News im Bereich der Streaming-Technologien ausgetauscht, verschiedene Autorentools vorgestellt u.v.m. Bis zum 15. Juli 2010 können Abstracts zu Vorträgen (max. eine DIN-A4 Seite) in folgenden Themenbereichen eingereicht werden: - Streaming Technologie – News und Tendenzen - HD oder SD Aufzeichnungen (was bringt uns HD technisch und didaktisch??) - Gibt es Didaktische Aspekte in der Produktions- und Postproduktionsphase zu beachten? - Was können Autorentools (technisch und didaktisch) - Werden wir alle YouTube, iTunes, lekturio o.ä.? - Flash- die Lösung? - Amazons Cloud für Streaming

SITE 2011 is the 22nd annual conference of the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education. The advent of Information and Communication Technologies has changed how we work, teach, learn and relate to each other. The idea of a virtual world encompasses online communities, communities of inquiry, formal teaching and learning, and horror and fantasy games. The experiences gained in such virtual worlds , whether high or low tech, impact who we are in the analog world (and vice versa): Who am I? How do we relate to each other? What is my role? How can we be productive as a team? What is mortality? How do we resolve conflict? These questions are addressed, to some degree, through the experiences we have in virtual worlds. What are we learning through those experiences? How can we perform better in both worlds? The aim of this project is to examine formal and informal learning in virtual worlds in an attempt to critique both its essential characteristics and its future possibilities.

The 2nd International Conference on Education, Training and Informatics (ICETI 2011) will be in Orlando, Florida, USA. Purpose: Education (cognitive development) and training (performance in a specific skill) are different but highly related notions. Informatics is supporting both of them with an increasing frequency and effectiveness in more and more activities and domains. The objective of ICETI 2010 Organizing Committee is to bring together researchers, professionals and practitioners from the three areas so they can share their knowledge and experiences in a multi- and inter-disciplinary intellectual climate.

The theme of this conference will be "Learning Environments and Ecosystems in Engineering Education." The conference will provide an interdisciplinary forum for academic, research and practical showcases. It aims to bridge the gap between pure academic research and real world experiences.
